Associate Veterinarian — Spelts and Masters Veterinary Clinic, Albany, GA. Up to $50,000 sign-on bonus.

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $50,000

Essential Responsibilities
  • Examine, diagnose, and treat companion animals to determine the nature of disease or injury
  • Perform routine and advanced medical procedures, including surgery, as appropriate
  • Operate diagnostic equipment, collect samples, and accurately interpret results
  • Advise pet owners on preventive care, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations
  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment protocols
  • Provide compassionate guidance for end-of-life care and decision-making
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, hospital policies, and applicable regulations
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
  • Active or eligible state veterinary licensure
  • Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD licensure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional, courteous demeanor with staff and clients
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and assist with lifting heavier patients or equipment
