Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What You’ll Do- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources while communicating effectively and developing interpersonal skills for providing customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in‑stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Maintain an in‑depth knowledge of the various types and seasonality of different meat products, equipment usage, and back‑room operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications—cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping—ensuring compliance with food‑safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience. Use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, always keeping the member in mind. Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Drive business results by ensuring commitment to operational excellence. Plan for profitability, maintain a work area according to company policies, and ensure quality and standards for high‑volume meat products. Eliminate waste, secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
- Advocate for the department and the club, valuing the member experience in the meat area and modeling high‑quality service and products. Execute the basics at the highest possible quality level. Interact with associates to understand roadblocks and assist in their training.
- Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity. Use the Open Door Policy, and apply these principles in executing business processes.
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources. Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks, communicate progress, determine improvement opportunities, and adapt to change.

Hourly wage range: $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour under specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications- Minimum of 6 months’ experience working in a fresh‑production department.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Successfully complete all required job‑training and assessments within the prescribed time period.
- Experience in the meat‑processing area.
