When you’re working in the deli department, you’ll be on the front lines of customer service—your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one.

• Maintain the safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, proper forklift spotting, and handling hazardous materials.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the freezer/cooler/deli area in accordance with company policies—zoning, receiving, stocking, setting up displays, removing damaged goods, pricing and auditing merchandise.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting company products.
• Follow company policies related to food handling, operating and sanitizing equipment, adhering to cold chain procedures, cleaning the freezer/cooler/deli area, monitoring fans, drains, and doors, and reporting issues to management.
• Ensure high‑quality products are taken care of and available for members, monitor shelf conditions, verify expiration dates, pack ready‑to‑sell items in proper containers, and maintain a clean, sanitized, member‑ready area.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Will successfully complete all required training and assessments within the prescribed time period if hired.

Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00. The actual rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
