Store Associate

Job Description

Essential role in retail stores. Store Associates work closely with wholesale and retail customers to identify needs, answer questions about Sherwin‑Williams products, recommend solutions, resolve concerns, maintain product and store visual standards, achieve customer satisfaction and meet sales goals.

Location:

Store #2354, 2532 Dawson Road, Albany, GA 31707. Schedule may include evenings and weekends.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately, consistent with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and inventory records.
• Retrieve products from sales floor or warehouse; tint and mix products as needed.
• Stock shelves, set up displays, and maintain presentable condition of assigned areas.
• Clean store equipment and maintain overall store appearance.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in deliveries as needed.
• Stay knowledgeable on products and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
• Previous experience selling paint or paint‑related products.
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in multiple languages (Spanish preferred).
