POSITION ANNOUNCEMENTPOSITION: Biology Lab Assistant
POSITION DESCRIPTION
:
Part-time position based on semester system. This position is for the Fall 2026 semester beginning on,
August 17, 2026 and ending December 14, 2026
. Lab assistant responsibilities centered on assisting the biology and chemistry faculty with laboratory preparation and activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Successful completion of all of the following sequence of classes with a minimum grade of “B” in the laboratory portion of the course
- BIOL
2113/BIOL
2113L (Anatomy & Physiology
1), BIOL
2114/BIOL
2114L (Anatomy & Physiology
2), and BIOL
2117/BIOL
2117L (Microbiology) or their equivalent
- BIOL
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and computer literacy skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Chemistry
SALARY/BENEFITS
:
Salary, $12/hour – with a maximum of 26 hours per week. There are no State Benefits.
