Security Officer - Site Driver Patrol in Albany, GA. You will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare and other industries. This is a Part-Time Security Officer role with a driving post that requires a valid driver’s license. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will complete routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service.

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating notifications to clinical staff and/or local responders as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify hazards and/or unusual activity.
• Control access by monitoring doors, checking credentials when required, managing visitor sign-in processes when assigned, and directing individuals to appropriate departments while maintaining privacy expectations.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate key information during shift changes to support continuity of security-related operations.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
