Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and security-related protocols within a healthcare location;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions;
Monitor assigned areas for unauthorized access, policy violations, and other security-related concerns, and report observations in a timely manner;
Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, de-escalating tense situations when possible, and communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and assist with appropriate emergency response activities when needed
