• Perform assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems
• Respond to basic warranty calls
• Load system‑level controller software
• Perform more complex commissioning and system diagnostics from system‑level controllers to end devices (sensors, actuators, etc.) and complete all required commissioning documentation
• Keep management, JCI contractors, or customers informed of job progress and issues
• Calibrate systems requiring basic electronic test equipment
• Complete administrative tasks such as time sheets, expense reports, and on‑site documentation
• Document changes and provide information for as‑built documentation
• Communicate with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site
• Follow all safety standards and attend required safety training
• Maintain a high degree of regard for employee and subcontractor safety

• Minimum 2‑year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or similar field; OR 3‑5 years of industry experience servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry
• Knowledge of HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation, and servicing techniques
• Effective interpersonal skills to represent Johnson Controls to customers and other contacts in an ethical and professional manner
• Ability to explain technical information to technical and non‑technical people
• Leadership skills to support mechanics working on non‑complex, non‑critical Building Automation equipment on a job site
• PC experience required and ability to program HVAC related software

Hiring Hourly Range
: $24.32–$36.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
