Job Overview
Keep our operations running, safely and smoothly. At Lineage, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the equipment and systems that keep our cold storage facilities running 24/7. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and improve the mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems that power our operation—including hands‑on work with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems essential to our success.
Key Responsibilities- Support routine maintenance of facility infrastructure—lighting, plumbing, HVAC, dock doors, racking systems, and general building systems.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems to ensure reliable operation.
- Perform preventive maintenance on Freon refrigeration systems, upholding strict safety and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment and facility control systems.
- Document maintenance activities and communicate updates to leadership.
- Maintain a safe, organized workspace and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Prior hands‑on experience in industrial maintenance, equipment repair, or building systems (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience or trade‑school training in facility, equipment, or refrigeration maintenance (Freon).
- Hands‑on experience with Freon refrigeration systems preferred.
- Universal EPA certification required.
- Skilled with hand and power tools; basic computer proficiency.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, problem‑solving ability, and communication skills.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Capable of working in cold or warm environments (-20°F to 100°F).
- Flexible availability, including weekends or overtime as needed.
