Electro-Mechanical Technician

The Electro‑Mechanical Technician Level 2 is responsible for the day‑to‑day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance of all equipment installed at Albany, GA. The shift runs 7:00pm–7:00am on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and every other Saturday. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.

• Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and lubrication.
• Complete preventive maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
• Build and close work orders in the asset management system with appropriate data—labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Troubleshoot fundamental conveyance problems and identify resources needed for resolution.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Respond to semi‑complex service calls, correcting equipment failures and faults.
• Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to remedy them.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required; vocational‑technical training is helpful.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50lb and occasionally pull wheeled dollies loaded up to 100lb.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
• Functional dexterity in both hands and wrists.
• Ability to climb ladders and gangways safely without limitation.
• Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours, and wet or uneven surfaces.
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10–12 hours.
• Flexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours as needed.

Base pay range: $24 to $29.50 per hour.
