Job Description:

The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their full-time JVSG position in the Office of Workforce Development .OVERVIEW:

The ISC plays a vital role in supporting employment opportunities for eligible veterans by coordinating specialized services, strengthening partnerships, and providing technical assistance to JVSG staff and workforce partners. This position serves as a statewide resource, working collaboratively with federal, state, and local agencies to improve employment outcomes for veterans facing employment barriers.

RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the statewide liaison and intensive services coordinator for the Georgia Jobs for Veterans State Grant (JVSG) Program, facilitating collaboration and coordination with federal, state, and community partners serving veterans.

Establish, coordinate, and manage referral pathways between JVSG and partner programs, including but not limited to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) Program, workforce programs, community organizations, educational institutions, and veteran service organizations.

Receive, review, and coordinate referrals of eligible veterans, eligible spouses, and other eligible persons to ensure timely connection to JVSG services and appropriate assignment to Disabled Veterans' Outreach Program (DVOP) Specialists.

Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison for partner agencies, helping bridge service gaps and ensuring veterans are connected to the appropriate employment, training, supportive, and workforce resources.

Coordinate with Career Center leadership, DVOP Specialists, and partner agencies to develop individualized service strategies and ensure continuity of services for referred participants.

Provide technical assistance, guidance, and training to JVSG staff and partner organizations regarding eligibility requirements, referral procedures, intensive services, and service delivery expectations.

Monitor participant progress and outcomes, facilitate communication among service providers, and ensure effective case coordination to support successful employment outcomes.

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with employers, workforce professionals, educational institutions, community organizations, veteran service organizations, and other agencies serving veterans.

Assist with statewide outreach initiatives and partnership development efforts designed to increase awareness of JVSG services and expand access points for veterans and eligible spouses.

Conduct monitoring, presentations, technical assistance visits, and training sessions related to referral processes, intensive services coordination, and partnership development.

Maintain accurate records, reports, referral tracking systems, and documentation in accordance with federal and state program requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned in support of the JVSG Program and statewide veteran service delivery initiatives.
