Location: City of Albany

  • Maintain general ledger accuracy through journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Support the month-end close and journal entries
  • Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice entry, two-way matching, approval verification, GL coding, and payment scheduling and execution.
  • Prepare cash flow reports, AP aging, AR aging, and financial summaries
  • Organize, digitalise, and maintain account records
  • Communicate with vendors regarding questions, payment timing, statement reconciliation, and documentation requirements.
  • Assist with sales tax filings, 1099 preparation, and audit support
  • Support payroll processing and employee record maintenance
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or higher in accounting or finance is preferred
  • 3-5 years of Accounting and Bookkeeping experience
  • Proficiency in Quick Books and Excel
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
