Business Office Manager

Skilled Nursing of Johnstown seeks a Business Office Manager to oversee billing, resident trust, payroll, and AR/AP for our skilled nursing and long-term care facility. This role manages daily business office operations, ensures accurate Medicaid/Medicare and insurance billing, maintains financial records, and supports budgeting and month-end reporting. The Business Office Manager collaborates with clinical and administrative leaders, supervises office staff, and communicates with residents, families, and payors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily business office operations for a skilled nursing and long-term care facility
• Manage Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing and collections
• Administer resident trust accounts in compliance with regulations
• Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processes
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare routine reports
• Support budgeting, month-end close, and financial audits
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and payer regulations
• Supervise and train business office staff
• Communicate with residents, families, and payors regarding billing and financial matters
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support resident-centered care
