A high-profile, multi-practice law firm is seeking a dedicated Legal Office Operations Coordinator to lead the administrative and operational functions of its Albany office. You will manage the office environment, vendor relationships, and local logistics in a fully onsite capacity.

  • Office Stewardship:
    Oversee daily onsite operations to ensure a seamless, high-end professional environment for attorneys and clients.
  • Vendor & Facility Liaison:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for building management and external service providers.
  • Legal Support Coordination:
    Manage high-level administrative logistics, including specialized document production and local docketing workflows.
  • Financial & Expense Management:
    Coordinate office billing, process local invoices, and interface with the firm’s central finance department.
  • Event Planning:
    Execute local client meetings, firm events, and internal initiatives with high attention to detail.
  • Systems Expert:
    Partner with technology teams to ensure all office hardware and legal software are optimized for the local team.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience:

    5+ years of operational or administrative experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Autonomy:
    Proven ability to run office operations independently—this role focuses on managing processes, not people.
  • Presence:
    This is a 100% onsite role requiring a consistent daily presence in the Albany office.
  • Technical Savvy:
    High proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with legal practice management or billing software.
