Shenendehowa Central School District has an anticipated vacancy and is now accepting applications. Job ResponsibilitiesThe position provides clerical support to a variety of stakeholders including teaching staff, guidance, attendance, and main office staff as needed, responsibilities may include:
- Preparing documents such as tests, quizzes, and correspondence, includes typing, copying, laminating, binding packets/books, organizing year-end school exams, and opening and sorting mail.
- Creating and updating Google documents, spreadsheets, power points, and booklets for special building events such as concerts, moving up ceremonies.
- Organizing and maintaining the copy room, including the supplies and equipment; clearing paper jams, adding toner and staples, changing paper/laminating rolls, and ordering supplies.
- Maintaining positive communications (verbal and written) with a variety of stakeholder groups including students, parents, staff, administration, and community members;
- Working collaboratively in an efficient, productive, and positive manner;
- Managing time to accurately complete a variety of tasks and projects with varying deadlines and; additional responsibilities as required.
Step 1 ($20.12/hr) - Step 7 ($26.64/hr)

Certifications/QualificationsGraduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma (GED) and two (2) years clerical office experience with an aptitude for learning new technology. Ability to embrace change, establish and maintain good working relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and administration. Exhibits good judgment, mental alertness, tact and courtesy. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite required.
Physical condition commensurate with the responsibilities of the position.

This is a part-time, non-competitive position with no civil service exam requirements.
