Sr. Administrative Assistant - Hospice Inn, Albany NY - FT Day

Employment Type:

Full time. Shift: Day Shift.

The Community Hospice has a rewarding opportunity for a full‑time Senior Administrative Assistant to join our support team at our inpatient unit located on the 5th floor ers Hospital. This role works as part of a team supporting clinicians who admit and care for inpatient hospice patients.

Responsibilities
  • Data entry and use of computer software, and answering phones.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast‑changing environment, work efficiently, collaborate with others, and manage time effectively.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; associate degree preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative assistant experience.
  • Strong customer service, computer skills, ability to work as part of a team, flexible and adaptable to change.

Community Hospice provides a thorough orientation and a supportive work environment.

Pay Range: $18.50 – $24.92 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
