Hope House, a substance abuse treatment provider in the Greater Capital Region of New York, is seeking a full‑time Client Services Coordinator. The position is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm, with compensation up to $19.31 /hour.
Responsibilities- Greet clients and visitors, determining their needs and taking appropriate action.
- Answer telephone calls and take appropriate action.
- Assist with scheduling of assessments and, at times, produce schedules for the counseling staff.
- Assist with the intake/admissions and discharge processes.
- Prepare correspondence, memos, reports and other documents.
- Maintain the OASAS online reporting.
- Maintain a daily census database and generate census and discharge reports.
- Gather statistical information and submit monthly report.
- Process incoming mail and manage outgoing mail.
- Manage petty cash accounts.
- Gather financial information and forward to the Financial Case Manager.
- Perform various money‑handling and account‑keeping responsibilities.
- Set up and break down client charts.
- Maintain facility files and records.
- Maintain inventory and requisitions.
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
Experience- Working knowledge of word processing.
- Excellent spelling and grammar skills.
- Aptitude for learning to operate electronic health records.
- Customer service skills.
- Proper phone etiquette.
- Works well with a team and individually.
- 11 paid holidays per calendar year.
