Location: City of Albany
New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets in Albany, NY seeks a Legal Assistant 1 or Trainee to join the Counsel’s Office. You will compile and organize files, assist with FOIL processing, prepare legal documents, catalog information, update databases, and calendar hearings and deadlines.
The role is full-time, 37.5 hours weekly, with telecommuting possible per agency guidelines. Traineeship path leads to permanent Legal Assistant 1, SG-14 with competitive salary progression.
