About the Role: At Promenade at University Place, we strive to provide a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for our residents, and we're seeking a dedicated Admissions Coordinator to join our team. As an Admissions Coordinator, you will play a critical role in facilitating the admissions process, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and providing exceptional customer service to prospective residents and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the full admissions process, including pre-admissions, intake, and discharge procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines
  • Conduct tours to showcase the adult care facility’s benefits
  • Update the CRM system to ensure that leads are properly classified
  • Understand and explain Medicaid eligibility requirements for NYS ALP
  • Prepare admission packets, collect necessary documentation, and coordinate with medical and nursing staff to confirm appropriate resident placement
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective residents and their families, addressing questions and concerns, building rapport, and providing updates throughout the process
  • Maintain accurate records, manage scheduling, and ensure staffing coverage meets admission standards
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive appropriate care and services
  • Ensure the facility adheres to all regulatory requirements, including resident rights and safety protocols
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
