Position: Customer Service Administrator 1
Location: City of Albany

As a Customer Service Administrator 1, you will be responsible for general clerical duties that assist in the operational function of the Service Center.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of functions, including scanning, driver check‑in, gate office operations, cashier duties, or receptionist tasks.
  • Use a scanning machine to ensure bills are properly loaded into the Company’s computer system for processing.
  • Pick‑up of bills in the routing office and delivery to various locations on the dock.
  • Aid the Linehaul Dispatch area as needed when associates are on vacation or out sick.
  • Receive drivers at the gate, obtain driver name and freight details on trailers, assign drivers a number, and designate an appropriate unloading location.
  • Direct visitors and truckers to various parts of the building or premises.
  • Balance daily cash reports, account for all bills, prepare bank deposits and checks, and verify all night deposits.
  • Provide daily phone coverage for the Service Center by operating a switchboard console.
  • Provide applicants with applications, collect them upon completion, and welcome visitors to the Service Center.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to satisfactorily pass a background check and an alcohol and drug test.
  • Six months of related experience and/or previous office experience.
  • Strong customer‑relations skills to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with interruption.
  • Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Preferred: previous experience with Customer Service, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and multi‑line phone systems.
Compensation and Shift

Pay: $17.85–$22.51 per hour (pay may vary based on location and experience).

Work Shift:

Second Shift.
