Location: City of Albany

Job Overview

Client Service Associate based onsite in Albany, NY, providing daily support to financial advisors and ensuring an exceptional client experience. Requires in‑office presence five days per week.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as first point of contact for clients via phone, email, and in person; provide friendly and professional assistance.
  • Schedule and confirm client meetings, prepare documentation, and follow up.
  • Address client inquiries regarding account maintenance, statements, and online access.
  • Process client requests such as beneficiary updates, address changes, RMDs, and account transfers with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and adhere to compliance guidelines.
  • Manage calendars, coordinate appointments, and organize client review meetings for advisors.
  • Prepare, proofread, and distribute reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Maintain and update client records in the firm’s CRM system with data accuracy.
  • Handle incoming/outgoing mail, including scanning and filing important documents.
  • Order office supplies and assist with general office upkeep.
  • Process new account paperwork ensuring all required documentation is complete and compliant.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance records related to FINRA, SEC, and firm policies.
  • Monitor client accounts for accuracy and resolve administrative issues; coordinate with custodians, fund companies, and financial institutions.
  • Support client appreciation events, webinars, and educational seminars.
  • Help manage social media updates, newsletters, and other client communication initiatives.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • 2+ years in financial services or administrative support.
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and ethical conduct.
  • Strong problem‑solving ability and teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently and support a fast‑paced team environment.
Preferred
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, accounting, or finance.
Compensation and Benefits

Hourly pay range: $23.52–$39.17. LPL offers a competitive Total Rewards package including 401(k) matching, health benefits, stock options, paid time off, and volunteer time off.
