In this fast-paced role, you ll help coordinate investigations, manage confidential records, prepare legal and administrative documentation, and keep critical case information organized so investigations move forward efficiently.
Who You ll Be Working With
This health agency protects the health and safety of residents by overseeing healthcare quality, investigating professional misconduct, supporting healthcare providers, and ensuring medical professionals meet the highest standards of care across the state.
Major Duties- Prepare medical record requests, subpoenas, quality assurance requests, and complainant correspondence using established procedures.
- Track investigative requests, certified mail, confidential data requests, and statutory deadlines to ensure timely case progression.
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, agendas, minutes, and calendars for investigative staff.
- Answer incoming phone calls and manage investigative mail, document scanning, and electronic file processing.
- Update and maintain investigative information in iTrak , SharePoint, and other electronic tracking systems.
- Securely coordinate the transfer of confidential medical records and investigative documents to medical experts.
- Prepare executive correspondence, reports, and communications with external agencies.
- Create and maintain logs, databases, and investigative documentation while supporting additional administrative projects as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in a professional office environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Experience answering and directing phone calls professionally.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting medical conduct process is a plus .

- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (7.5 paid hours/day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Location: Onsite in A lbany, NY ( 12204 )
- Compensation: $24/hour
- Length of Engagement: Through August 09, 2027, with potential for extension
- Training: Assignment-specific training will be provided.
