Summary of Role:This role is primarily responsible for accurate check posting, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and ensuring timely scanning and distribution of documents to the appropriate internal teams. A Notary Public certification is strongly preferred.
Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities:- Post incoming payments (checks) accurately and timely into internal systems
- Prepare and process outgoing mail, including sorting, labeling, and shipment coordination
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Scan and index incoming mail/documents to the appropriate departments and team members
- Track and log incoming payments and mail to ensure proper routing and accountability
- Assist with basic data entry and clerical support tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and confidentiality requirements
- Perform notary services when required (if certified)
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous clerical, administrative, or payment processing experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with financial transactions
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, document scanning systems, and data entry)
- Ability to manage routine, repetitive tasks with consistency and efficiency
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Active Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain)
Physical Requirements
Office-based role May require sitting for extended periods and occasional standing, walking, and lifting mail trays or packages
Starting Compensation$18.91 - $22.69/hr., plus a competitive benefits package
