Shift Details:
- 8:30am-4:30pm, Mon.
-Fri
Duties & Responsibilities:
Opening and sorting all incoming mail.
Distributing mail to the appropriate units throughout the office.
Assisting staff with document retrieval requests.
Checking in opened mail three times each day.
Keeping a daily count of all mail received.
Placing processed mail into the appropriate distribution bins for routing to the assigned units
Maintaining an organized and efficient mail processing area to ensure timely handling and delivery of all incoming correspondence.
Search the corporate database, following search guidelines for documents submitted by customers and service companies and make a printout of each exact or similar record located.
Perform data entry of various documents into the Cenuity system.
Review associated documentation for accuracy and acceptability.
A high school diploma (or equivalent),
Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in a NYS Agency
With experience as a Mail Clerk
One (1) year minimum experience working in a professional office setting,
Additional certifications may be required.
