Duties Description Talent Development & Training (TD&T) provides OPWDD employees with training and development activities needed to perform their jobs effectively. The Administrative Assistant 1 will provide administrative and office support within TD&T performing tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Provide a high level of customer service to OPWDD employees and external learners.
  • This includes answering phone calls and email, working directly with learners to resolve issues, and forwarding correspondence to the appropriate recipient as needed.
  • Provide technical support to learners for training hosted in the Statewide Learning Management System (SLMS), Webex, Teams, and other platforms
  • Prepare and submit help tickets as necessary
  • Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence
  • Prepare reports, tables, and charts using SharePoint, Excel, Word, and other platforms
  • Schedule recurring and individual meetings, coordinate meeting resources, and take meeting minutes if needed
  • Assist in tracking assignments to ensure outcomes within desired time frames
  • Maintain office supplies inventory
  • Other duties as assigned
