The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for administrative data entry, reviewing and auditing reports and other related administrative tasks as assigned.
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*** Strictly adhere to HIPAA and NYS HIV Confidentiality Law
* Collect information from medical records, licenses and other various data forms and enter them into databases
* Maintain organized filing and tracking systems
* Work independently, asking questions when guidance is needed
* Inform supervisor of data entry issues
* Practice strong attention to detail and accuracy of data entry
** Qualifications
* ** High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- required
* Experience with data entry and Microsoft Office - required
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy (High proficiency)
* Excellent organization and tracking skills (High proficiency)
* Familiarity with medical terminology
* Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality principles
Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
