Job Overview

Lia Honda Albany is seeking a Level A/A+ automotive technician. The service departments are equipped with the latest technologies and equipment including a service drive alignment checker, alignment rack, and Hunter tire mounting and balancing machines. Range: $100K‑$150K+

• 3+ years of service technician experience required
• Diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair experience required
• State inspection certification required
• Ase certification recommended
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
• Computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Must have clean & valid driver's license

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership processes
• Test‑drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
