Salary: $120,000 - $150,000

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support our NYS Client with large-scale financial systems initiatives within a complex public-sector IT environment. This role is responsible for leading business analysis efforts, gathering and documenting requirements, driving process improvements, and engaging stakeholders across multi-year enterprise projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting financial system enhancements and enterprise automation initiatives.

• Lead business analysis activities for complex IT projects
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and interviews
• Develop detailed business process documentation and workflow diagrams
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies
• Support system implementation and enhancement initiatives
• Produce comprehensive project documentation, including requirements traceability matrices
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure requirements alignment and solution delivery
• Participate in long-term project initiatives
• Support enterprise automation efforts within financial systems environments

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working on complex IT projects
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and business process improvement
• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise automation initiatives within a statewide financial system environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial systems within NYS or comparable transportation agencies of similar size and complexity
• Experience supporting projects with durations exceeding three (3) years
• Associate’s degree or combination of experience and education
