Description:

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to support sourcing, bidding, negotiations, and procurement activities across fast-paced client projects. This role partners with procurement, engineering and construction teams, project management, and leadership to coordinate the RFQ/ITB process, negotiations, purchase orders and subcontract awards, and expediting through delivery of materials and/or completion of work on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in complex industrial or high-tech manufacturing projects.

This role may be performed remotely, though candidates located near Boise, Idaho;
Phoenix, Arizona;
Albany, New York; or Hillsboro, Oregon are preferred.

Role Accountabilities:
  • Create and manage request for proposals including preparation of RFP documents, review of proposals, performing price analysis, negotiation of price, and scope review.
  • Manage all aspects of supplier administration for the project, including bidding to prequalified bidders, negotiation/execution of contracts, submitting downstream notices and change orders, and closing out contracts.
  • Review purchase requests for pertinent and accurate information, prepare and execute requisition requests for project site team.
  • Utilize software for preparing RFPs, issuing contract commitments and tracking deliverables.
  • Make recommendations on any deviations from standard terms and conditions to commercial manager and procurement manager.
  • Manage complex packages and initial escalations from project staff.
  • Maintain procurement logs, databases and correspondence.
  • Work closely with project management, engineering, client and subcontractors.
  • Manage supplier DBE reporting as necessary.
  • Contact vendors and subcontracts and maintain a positive vendor/subcontractor relationship.
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate any potential lead time issues.
  • Manage procurement logistics.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications &

Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related discipline; or 5+ years of experience in procurement or related field
  • Strong knowledge of stand bidding practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with semiconductor industry requirements and complex projects
  • Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required. Will consider US domestic travelers and relocation.
