The Aggregate and Asphalt Dispatcher plays a key role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and timely coordination of materials essential to our construction and paving operations. This position serves as the communication hub between plant personnel, truck drivers, project managers, and customers, balancing logistics with accuracy and exceptional service. This position pays $27 per hour.

• Take and process customer orders for aggregates and asphalt
• Ensure orders are entered accurately in the system
• Ensure the product that the customer is ordering is correct for that job or project
• Schedule deliveries and dispatch trucks
• Effectively communicate with internal and external customers and other stakeholders
• Organize and send requested reports and/or order information to customers
• Other duties as assigned

• Candidate must be energetic and customer friendly with the ability to work in a fast paced team atmosphere that focuses around the customer in the aggregates, asphalt & construction industry.
• Strong computer skills
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently, without direct supervision
• Demonstrate a willingness to work overtime
• Demonstrates strong communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrate the ability to conform to and maintain MSHA, OSHA, DOT and all other company or governmental state rules and regulations.
• Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required
• Drug screen and background check required before being employed by Callanan Industries, Inc.

• Dispatch or industry experience preferred
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel is preferred
