Overview
We are seeking Jr. Schedulers interested in mastering the art of construction project planning and scheduling using Primavera Project Planning P6 software (P6).

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc., consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost‑effective team to serve clients. LiRo‑Hill is a 1,100‑person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Edison, NJ.
The client for this position is the NYS OGS Department of Design & Construction.
ResponsibilitiesWe have an outstanding opportunity for a Junior Scheduler or entry‑level engineer or construction management graduate interested in mastering the art and science of project planning and scheduling. In this role you'll learn to master Primavera Project Planning P6 software (P6) as a Junior Scheduler (Scheduler in Training). Primavera P6 software is considered the standard for project planning and scheduling in the construction industry.
As a Junior Scheduler you will learn and enhance your skills in the following areas:
- Use of P6 Software
- Critical Path Methodology
- Project Planning
- Schedule Analysis
- Baseline Schedule Development and Maintenance
- Construction Duration Schedule Development
- Schedule Report Development
- Time Impact Analysis
- Online Meeting Facilitation and Collaboration
- Critical Thinking
- Communication (written and verbal)
- Time Management
- Contract General Conditions
Past successful candidates have possessed skills in the following areas:
- Must have 2+ years of project management experience in the construction industry or equivalent
- Degree in engineering, construction management, or similar
- Basic P6 or other scheduling technology
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Active listeners with the ability to paraphrase
- Works well in a team environment
- Good with time management
- Highly organized, resourceful, flexible and patient; it typically takes most candidates six months to learn the basics of scheduling and an additional six months of practice to refine the skill necessary to be comfortable as a Scheduler

Compensation range for this role: $63,000 to $85,000.
The range provided is the salary that the firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
