About the Role
Jacobs is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager who will deliver projects and programs that meet clients’ goals. The role involves managing construction, building solutions, and ensuring projects move from concept to reality while staying on time and within budget.
Responsibilities- Lead multiple construction projects at the Albany client sites, reporting directly to the Sr. Project Manager.
- Manage the full project lifecycle—from design coordination and pre‑construction activities to close‑out.
- Provide leadership on scheduling, safety, quality, coordination with designers, and resolution of critical issues.
- Handle change order process, cost reviews, and contractor payment application approvals.
- Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full‑time basis as required by the nature of the role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience on construction projects valued above $5 million, covering multiple construction phases.
- Strong knowledge of pre‑design and pre‑construction, contract management, project delivery methods, building systems, technology, team building, and client relationship management.
- Ability to manage 4–5 projects using established controls and procedures.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Employment requires background check and access to secure facilities.
- Related education or professional certification accepted as partial fulfillment of experience.
