Customer Service Representative

Suburban Propane seeks a Customer Service Representative to support residential, commercial, and industrial energy customers. In this onsite role, you'll answer calls, emails, and chats about propane deliveries, billing, and service, while promoting our strong safety culture. You'll schedule deliveries and maintenance, update customer records, process payments, and resolve issues with professionalism and care. Working closely with dispatch and field technicians, you'll help ensure safe, timely, and reliable fuel service and identify additional services that benefit our customers.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound customer calls and emails regarding propane deliveries, billing, and service
• Schedule deliveries, service appointments, and maintenance with dispatch and field technicians
• Resolve customer issues and complaints while maintaining a high level of professionalism
• Educate customers on safety procedures, products, and available services
• Update and maintain accurate customer records in company systems
• Process payments, set up accounts, and assist with credit and billing questions
• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure timely and reliable service
• Follow safety, compliance, and privacy policies in all customer interactions
• Identify opportunities to offer additional services that meet customer needs
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current on products, systems, and safety standards
