Multiple offices throughout New York, with focus in architecture, engineering, environmental, and consulting within government, institutional, healthcare, education, municipal, and more. We are looking for a Senior Designer/Architect to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to apply their skills and knowledge. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about design, architecture, and engineering, and is proficient in using Revit. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

• Lead the development of design concepts and ensure they are in line with project objectives and client needs.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop and refine architectural designs.
• Utilize Bluebeam software for design development, project management, and document control.
• Oversee the production of detailed drawings and specifications for construction purposes.
• Conduct site visits to ensure construction is in accordance with design and specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior design staff.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and standards.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating design concepts and solutions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and sustainability standards in all designs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
• MUST BE LICENSED and a minimum of 10 years of experience as an Architect.
• Proficiency in using Revit software for design and project management.
• Strong technical skills with the ability to create detailed architectural drawings and specifications - must have experience with construction documentation.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience in guiding and mentoring a team.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and solutions to clients and team members.
• Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
• A creative mind with a strong sense of aesthetics and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Professional registration as an Architect or Engineer is highly desirable.
