Overview

The Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at The Bernard and Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center is seeking a full-time physician to join a well-established and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for a pediatrician interested in inpatient care, teaching, and professional growth within a supportive academic environment.

• Inpatient pediatric care and newborn care
• Pediatric sedation and complex care management
• Active teaching of medical students and residents in Pediatrics, Medicine-Pediatrics and Family Medicine

• MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Hospital Medicine encouraged but not required
• Strong communication skills, with a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to patient care
• Ability to teach, mentor, and collaborate with medical students, medical residents and other healthcare providers
• Opportunities for professional development and involvement in medical education

• Robust academic Department of Pediatrics with multiple residency programs

• Competitive base salary range $205,000-$215,000 for assistant professor; other faculty ranks to be discussed at time of interview
