St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates is launching St. Peter’s Orthopedics, a premier surgical group in New York’s Capital Region. We are seeking a Fellowship-Trained, Board Certified/Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Arthroscopy to join as a founding member. This is a rare opportunity to help architect a new service line while enjoying the security of a large, non-profit health system and a $725k–$800k guarantee for experienced surgeons.

As a cornerstone of our newly established group, you will provide expert surgical care with a focus on shoulder arthroplasty and sports-related injuries. You will benefit from a built-in referral base via our extensive primary care network and work within a physician-friendly, collaborative environment.

• Surgical Sites:
  St. Peter’s Hospital (Albany) and Samaritan Hospital (Troy).
• Support:
  Dedicated inpatient and outpatient APP teams specialized in Orthopedics.
• Scope:
  High-volume shoulder arthroscopy and general sports medicine.
• Influence:
  Direct input into the growth and culture of the new St. Peter’s Orthopedics practice.

• Education:
  
  MD or DO;
  Fellowship training in Orthopedic Sports Medicine.
• Certification:
  Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE).
• Experience:
  
  5–10 years of post-training experience is preferred (New graduates with exceptional training will be considered).
• Skillset:
  Proficiency in advanced shoulder arthroscopy/arthroplasty.
• Mission-Driven:
  Commitment to team-based, patient-centered care.

• Total Earning Potential: $675,000 – $800,000+
• 5-Year Salary Guarantee:
  • Experienced Surgeons: $725,000 – $800,000
  • New Graduates: $675,000 – $700,000
