Neuromuscular Neurologist – Albany Medical College
The Department of Neurology at Albany Medical College is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologists to join and expand our growing Neuromuscular Division.
Albany Medical Center is the only academic medical center in northeastern New York. As a private, non‑profit organization, we provide care to more than 3 million people. Our Neurology Department offers established programs in:
- Epilepsy
- Dementia
- Movement disorders
- Neuromuscular disease
- Pediatric neurology
- Pain management
- Stroke and neurocritical care
- Provide patient care in a collaborative environment alongside general and subspecialty neurology colleagues
- Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows
- Perform and interpret EMG/NCS studies
- Participate in plentiful research opportunities
- Academic appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, based on qualifications and experience
- MD/DO or equivalent with board certification in Neurology
- Completion of a certified Clinical Neurophysiology or Neuromuscular Fellowship
- Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State
- Strong interest in education and mentorship
- Commitment to excellent patient care
- Competitive base salary range $220,000‑240,000 depending on academic rank with additional incentive bonus opportunity
