Practice Setting:

• Hospital-based maternal fetal medicine service
• High-risk obstetrics consultative focus
• Collaboration with obstetrics and perinatal teams
• Two dedicated Maternal Fetal Medicine nurse practitioners

Schedule:

• Inpatient service beginning at 7:00 AM with transition to clinic or ultrasound coverage
• Outpatient clinic 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Two-week blocks available
• Last clinic patients typically scheduled by late afternoon

Cases and Procedures:

• High-risk pregnancy management including diabetes, hypertension, and preeclampsia
• Cardiac disease in pregnancy consults
• Ultrasound supervision and interpretation
• No delivery responsibilities
• Cerclage and other procedural skills welcomed but not required

Requirements:

• Board Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician
• Active New York license
• BLS, DEA, NRP, and PALS certifications

Travel Accommodations:

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
• Drive-in candidates preferred
