Cardiology - Noninvasive Physician

Albany, New York - Non-Invasive Cardiologist Job Assignment Details

• Setting:
  Inpatient and outpatient cardiology across three facilities
• Schedule Options:
  • Weekend rounding only
  • Traditional hospital/clinic schedule
  • Hospital-only, shift-based schedule
• On-Call: 1:5 weekend rotation (telephone and occasional in-person coverage)
• Outpatient Care:
  Includes 2-3 monthly walk-in clinic sessions (for traditional schedule)
• EMR:
  Epic

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiology care
• Hospital rounding and clinic visits
• Manage 20-25 patients per 8-hour clinic day
• Participate in hospital rounds on a team caring for 50-60 inpatients daily
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary cardiology team
• Maintain compliance with all credentialing and institutional policies

Requirements

• Board Certification:
  • Internal Medicine - Required at start
  • Must achieve Board Certification within 2 years if not already certified
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA - Required
• Candidate Type:
  • Open to 2026 new grads
  • Not accepting Locums candidates
  • Not open to Visa candidates
  • Not clearing 2027 fellows yet
  • Open to 1099 candidates
