Be an advocate, confidence builder, and difference maker for students, supporting their behavioral, personal, emotional, and social development. Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment that fosters student growth and development.

• Positively impact students’ educational, behavioral, social, and emotional well‑being.
• Nurture student potential through personalized, small‑group, and classroom counseling, focusing on academic, emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
• Conduct learning assessments to reveal students' strengths and areas for growth, informing referrals as needed.
• Empower parents and school staff by connecting them with community resources that align with students' unique needs.
• Ensure administrative excellence by completing accurate, efficient paperwork.
• Stay updated on field trends to enhance guidance and support for students.
• Foster trust and reliability by adhering to the Counseling Policy Manual, funding guidelines, and school procedures.

• $40‑45 per hour, depending on experience.
• Opportunities for professional development and advancement.

• Master’s degree in school counseling or school social work with NYS certification/license (required).
• Experience working with students (desired).

USD $40.00 - USD $45.00 per hour.
