Adjunct Faculty in Philosophy
The Philosophy Department at Siena University is looking for adjunct faculty for the Fall 2026 semester to teach one or two in-person sections of PHIL 101:
Philosophy and the Human Being, at our campus in Loudonville, NY.
This is a part-time, one-semester, adjunct faculty position. The two available course sections meet on Siena's campus as follows:
- Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:10am - 10:10am
- Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3:40pm - 4:40pm
Requirements:
- Ideal candidates will have teaching experience in Philosophy and a Ph.D. in Philosophy. ABDs in Philosophy doctoral programs and candidates with terminal degrees in related fields may be considered.
- Candidates must be able to teach in-person at our Loudonville, NY campus.
Pay Rate: $1333.34 per contact hour*
