Anticipated Substitute/Long-Term Substitute Grade 6
Teacher at Sand Creek Middle School.
Start Date:
September 1,2026to approximately January 4, 2027
Our ideal candidate should have:
- Childhood Education Teacher with appropriate NYS Certification Grades 1-6, with ELA and Social Studies content area experience preferred.
- Effective communication skills to engage students, parents, colleagues and the school community as a whole. Awareness and experience with relative technology mediums would be ideal.
- Creativity and insight into core curriculum.
According to the School Alliance for Substitutes in Education (SASIE) Contract. Certified sub $141.00 per day, uncertified $120.00 per day, increase after 20 consecutive days to SCTA Contract Schedule 1, Step 1 or $57,677.00.
