From $40,000 for a 10-month contract
Private, well-established school of music located in Albany, New York, seeks an exceptional, energetic teacher to teach comprehensive music fundamentals to small‑group classes of young children and individual piano lessons to older children and adults. This is a ten‑month, salaried position, with benefits; there are opportunities for summer employment for additional pay. New hires receive training in our custom curriculum and mentorship as they take on all responsibilities of faculty.
Ours is a strong community featuring involved families, devoted alumni, and ties local musical institutions such as the Albany Symphony Orchestra.
- Degree in piano or piano pedagogy preferred
- Teaching experience, excellent musicianship, and can‑do attitude required
