Location: City of Albany
(2) Probationary Teaching Assistants (9:1:3 or6:1:2) –Elementary School Level(Grades K-4) at Forest Park Elementary School for the School Year.
The South Colonie Central School District is seeking (2) Probationary Teaching Assistants (9:1:3 or6:1:2) to fill positions for the school year.
OPENING:(2) Teaching Assistants (9:1:3 or6:1:2) – Elementary School (Grades K-4)
START DATE:September 1, 2026
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:Our ideal candidates should have;
- Teaching Assistant or Teacher (preferred Students with Disabilities) with appropriate NYS Certifications.
- Effective communication skills to engage students, parents, colleagues and the school community as a whole.
- Creativity and insight into core curriculum.
- Familiarity and experience providing instruction and support for students with emotional disabilities and/or behavioral challenges.
- Experience with students with varying abilities, solid organizational skills and willingness to facilitate hands-on activities.
According to the South Colonie Teaching Assistant Contract at least $28,838.00 depending on experience and transcripts. Competitive benefits.
