The Experiential Learning & Future Pathways Coordinator supports CEHC students in developing clear academic, experiential, and professional pathways that align with their long‑term educational and career goals. The position focuses on academic and professional planning, experiential learning readiness, and executive functioning skill development. Through individual advising, group programming, and collaboration with faculty and staff, the Coordinator ensures students are prepared to engage in high‑impact learning opportunities and transition successfully to graduate education and professional careers.

• Professional Development and Pathway Planning
  • Meet in small groups with students to:
    • Support academic, experiential learning, and professional pathway planning.
    • Help students connect academic choices to internships, research opportunities, capstones, peer education, and other experiential learning opportunities.
    • Support students exploring 4+1 programs, graduate school, and Ph.D. pathways through structured conversations, faculty connections, and application preparation guidance.
    • Co-host workshops and activities with partners on campus such as Career and Professional Development, Education Abroad, Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy, Massry School of Business.
• Experiential Learning Preparation and Tracking
  • Coordinate experiential learning readiness activities including resume development, application preparation, professional skills development, and reflective practices.
  • Manage and track experiential learning opportunities, placements and outcomes for CEHC students.
  • Manage enrollment, permissions and follow up with for experiential learning placements.
  • Review internship experience submissions, check for program alignment, and identify appropriate internship course placement.
• Executive Functioning and Life-Ready Skills Development
  • Teach and reinforce executive functioning skills such as time management, organization, prioritization, motivation, and follow-through.
  • Design and deliver workshops on executive functioning, academic success strategies, and experiential learning readiness.
  • Provide targeted support to students requiring additional structure or skill development.
• Programming and Collaboration
  • Collaborate with the student ambassadors on "Plan Your Path" programming and departmental information sessions.
  • Provide transition programming for first-year and transfer students to orient them to CEHC academic and experiential pathways.
  • Partner with faculty and staff to align advising, experiential learning, and student success initiatives.
• Other Duties

• May supervise employees as assigned (student ambassadors, GA's, etc.)

• Knowledge of experiential learning models, academic advising, and student success practices in higher education.
• Strong advising, coaching, and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
• Ability to teach and reinforce executive functioning and academic success skills.
• Experience coordinating programs, tracking outcomes, and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong organizational, data tracking, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to build relationships with faculty and staff and campus partners.

• Bachelor's degree from a college or University accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in academic advising, student success, experiential learning, career development, or a related higher education field.
