The South Colonie Central School District is currently seeking one (1) Probationary Teaching Assistant Special Education in an 8:1:2 room at Colonie Central High School (Grades 9-12) for the school year.

September 1, 2026 or ASAP
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Our ideal candidate should have;
- Teaching Assistant or Teacher New York State Certification.
- Effective communication skills to engage students, parents, colleagues and the school community as a whole.
- Creativity and insight into core curriculum.
- High school level teaching and support experience.
- Experience with students with varying abilities, solid organizational skills and willingness to facilitate hands-on activities.
According to the South Colonie Teaching Assistant Contract at least $28,838.00 depending on experience and transcripts. Competitive benefits.
