Job Description:The Associate Director of Graduate Enrollment Operations provides strategic advisement to Graduate School leadership and operational oversight for the Graduate School's CRM, Slate, to advance our enrollment goals. Slate is a higher education-focused CRM platform used to manage the entire student lifecycle including recruitment, admissions, enrollment, personalized communications for prospective students and applicants, scholarship, assistantship and financial aid offer communications, as well providing data, trends, and queries that guide strategic enrollment decisions.
Because UAlbany has a single instance of Slate between graduate and undergraduate admissions, this position will oversee and conduct processes that involve admissions processing campus-wide.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administration, maintenance, optimization, and advancement of Slate for the purpose of enrollment management for the Graduate School, including its interface with other Student Information Systems such as People Soft. This includes oversight of system configuration, admissions workflows, data integrity, integrations, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing process improvements. The position also develops and maintains queries, reports, communications, and automated processes that support graduate admissions operations and strategic enrollment decision-making.
- Providing data to stakeholders to help with recruitment, marketing and admissions strategies.
- Performing upgrades to Slate related matters (rules, configurable joins, etc.)
- Develop and conduct trainings for stakeholders on campus in conjunction with staff from the Graduate School.
- Other reasonable duties as assigned.

- Reports to Assistant Dean of Graduate Recruitment & Admissions

- May supervise employees as assigned (if no direct reports at time of filling position)
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a college or University accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in higher education, admissions, or operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of experience working with a CRM and/or Student Information Systems.
