What Are We Looking For?Brightside Up is looking to fill the position of a Legally Exempt Educator
.A Legally
Exempt Educator is responsible for enrolling, re-enrolling, inspecting
and monitoring Legally Exempt child care providers (Family, Friend, & Neighbor
Child Caregivers) as defined by the New York State Office of Children and Family
Services.
What Does a Legally Exempt Educator Do?- Assist Legally Exempt Providers and families with completion of the enrollment form.
- Data entry of enrollment form, inspections, training.
- Complete background checks for Legally Exempt providers.
- Conduct in-home Health & Safety Inspections for Legally Exempt Providers.
- Provide technical assistance in completing the enrollment application.
- Attention to details and deadlines.
- Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A willingness to learn.
- Experience in an office setting
- NYS Driver’s License
Job Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week, 7.5 hours/day, Monday-Friday
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year/$ per hour
