Job Description

Title:

Desktop Support / Field Service Technician / Computer Driving Technician.

Location:

Albany, NY (servicing multiple US locations).

Type:
Long‑term Contract / Contract to Permanent.

• Drive to various customer locations from the pickup parts location specified in the job.
• Visit business offices and homes to repair, troubleshoot, or break‑fix computers, desktops, laptops, and printers.
• Use your own vehicle to travel and provide service to customers.
• Work primarily with Dell products (previous experience is a plus).
• Travel within a 50–70 mile radius of the pickup parts location.
• Maintain a professional demeanor in communication and appearance.
• Be prepared for overtime and extensive driving (approximately 300 miles per week).

• A+ Certification mandatory (training or expired status accepted).
• Dell or other product manufacturing certifications are a plus.
• Experience working on laptops and desktops required.
• Experience in break‑fix support required.

• Upon offer, undergo background check and driving record review.
• Complete Dell certification training (online, free).
• Sign a contract agreement with company terms.
• Pay is biweekly based on approved hours.
• Mileage reimbursed (contact for details).
• Plan for backup vehicle in case of breakdown.

• Standard pay rate and good mileage reimbursement.
• Seeking committed technicians who add value to the company.
• Typically receive feedback within 48 hours of application.

• A+ Certification (training/expired status accepted).
• Valid driving license and insurance.
• Knowledge of Dell or other product manufacturing certifications (plus).
