As a Process Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in designing and optimizing manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor manufacturing technologies. You will collect and analyze data, perform hardware characterization, and troubleshoot engineering issues. You’ll also measure film properties, generate technical documentation, and engage with customers to resolve concerns. Process Engineers collaborate with vendors and suppliers, and become familiar with implementing new technologies and products.
You will experiment, learn, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the semiconductor and display industries, partnering with our globally recognized R&D teams on state‑of‑the‑art research and development projects. Work with unit process engineers, device engineers, and customer engineers to manage process flows that result in functional devices and structures for use in Si‑based CMOS Logic development programs.
- Build and maintain Si CMOS integration flows in an MES system such as Si View
- Own and execute wafer movement for test vehicle builds. Manage lots using the MES and related systems through the process flows. Manage the logistics of moving wafers between multiple locations within the company.
- Work collaboratively to maintain line health and stability of key test vehicles: drive spec holds, tool prioritization, and track down tools.
- Deliver test vehicles on schedule with high quality
- Work within a team to define project plans that will take the integration process from inception to execution on Si wafer
- Interface with unit process engineers to:
- get the needed recipes in the flow
- drive process improvements and changes to hit structural, electrical, and cycle time targets
- Design experiments using DOE methods and analyze data using proper statistical methods
- Understand and analyze both inline and electrical test data.
- Be able to present projects plans and results at both a technical and executive level
- Drive the generation of IP (patents, papers, conference proceedings)
5+ Years of industry experience and process integration
EducationBachelor's Degree in relevant engineering area, Masters/PhD preferred.
Functional Knowledge- Experienced SiView user
- Experienced with statistical process control
- Regarded as the technical expert in their particular field
- Demonstrates depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function
- Anticipates business and regulatory issues; recommends product, process or service improvements
- Leads projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution
